President of the Republic of South Africa Pays Official Visit to the Pan-African Parliament
The President of the Republic of South Africa, H.E. Mr. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, paid an official visit to the headquarters of the Pan-African Parliament in Midrand, where he was welcomed by the President of the Pan-African Parliament, Dr. Fateh Boutbiq, accompanied by his Vice-Presidents, including the Third Vice-President, Mr. Djidda Maamar Mahamat.
On this occasion, the South African Head of State delivered a high-level speech addressing the continent’s major challenges and priorities. He highlighted issues related to African integration within the framework of the African Union, peace and security, economic development, the sustainable management of water resources, as well as other strategic priorities outlined in the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
The solemn session was attended by Members of the Pan-African Parliament, representatives of the organs and institutions of the African Union, as well as a large audience of participants and guests. The occasion underscored the significance of the visit and President Ramaphosa’s commitment to promoting African unity, cooperation, and sustainable development across the continent.
